JSON Patch Applier
Apply ordered JSON Patch operations atomically within an explicit finite profile.
Pasted JSON document and patch, One UTF-8 file per input
patched.json, json-patch-report.json

How to use this tool
- Paste the JSON document and an array of patch operations, or choose a UTF-8 file for either input.
- Use plain JSON Pointer paths and the required members for each operation.
- Apply the patch, then download the resulting document and complete report. A refused operation produces no partial downloads.
Examples
An add operation at /items/- appends a value to an existing items array.
Limitations
- At most 1 MiB per input, 2 MiB combined, 1000 operations, 40 levels and 100000 parsed or live result nodes; cumulative work and copy budgets also apply. At most 20 MiB combined output and 30 seconds.
- The final result must remain one JSON value. Removing the root is unsupported and refused; this is a finite RFC 6902 profile.
- Tests use exact mathematical number equality and ignore object-key order. Move destinations use the document after removal. Unknown operation members are ignored and retained in the report.
