How to use this tool
- Enter an HTTP(S) URL and method, then an ordered JSON header list. Duplicate headers keep their order.
- Enable a body only when needed and enter its literal text. HEAD refuses an enabled body, including an empty one.
- Select Build inert cURL command and download request-curl.sh and curl-command-report.json. Inspect the command before using it; the tool performs no request.
Examples
GET https://example.com/ without headers or a body produces a quoted command using --globoff, --request GET and --url.
Limitations
- URL at most 8192 UTF16 units,0–100 headers, body at most1MiB,5MiB combined output and30 seconds. Header values are printable ASCII; URL credentials, controls, backslashes and active body NUL refuse.
- POSIX-sh quoting only; no PowerShell or cmd equivalence. Nothing is executed, fetched, sent or tested against a server.
- The browser body textarea normalizes CRLF and CR line breaks to LF. The command report preserves the exact body value submitted by that control.
