Examples

Local CSV file: Choose a local CSV file
Decoding policy: auto

Limitations

  • One actual local file up to400000 bytes. Detect UTF8/UTF16 BOMs,refuse unsupported UTF32 decoding, and validate auto/explicit UTF8/UTF16LE/BE policy. No silent fallback on invalid bytes or conflicting BOM. BOM-less UTF8 is compatible, not uniquely identified. Strip exactly one initial BOM for CSV framing; decodedCharacters counts UTF16 units excluding that marker. CSV inspection uses up to2000 records/200 columns/100000 cells; exceeding that inspection budget reports unknown CSV validity. No filename/content upload; malformed data gives diagnostics and missing/oversize files refuse.
  • Text fields are limited to100,000 UTF16 units each and400,000 combined UTF8 bytes; file fields have their own displayed limits. Combined output is at most4MiB. Processing stops after30 seconds; tool-specific bounds may be tighter.
  • Generated source is a downloadable result and is not executed here. Inspection does not establish remote behavior, trust or standards certification.
