Limitations
- Files are processed locally with no upload or playlist fetching.
- 128 MiB input/output, 5-minute duration, 8-megapixel video, 8192 pixels per side, 1–2 audio channels at 8–96 kHz, and a 120-second processing deadline.
- GIF input is limited to 20 MiB; GIF paths support at most 600 frames and 100 million aggregate frame pixels.
- Decoding and some output encoders depend on browser codec support. Encrypted media is unsupported.
- Primary tracks only; subtitles and extra tracks are not carried into new outputs.
- Re-encoding may change quality. Descriptive tags/artwork are removed from new media; technical encoding headers remain.
- FLAC mode: 64 MiB input, 96 MiB output, 32 million samples, 8–96 kHz mono/stereo and 5 minutes. Integer PCM WAV 8/16/24/32-bit values are preserved exactly; other sources are decoded/resampled/quantized to 48 kHz 16-bit with clipping reported. FLAC cannot restore quality lost in a lossy source.
- When audio is decoded, tracks with more than one second of decoder priming or overlapping sample timestamps are unsupported. The 32-million decoded-sample work cap includes priming and skipped samples.
