About this flow

Prepare one WebP for a JPEG-only upload: resize to a chosen width while preserving aspect ratio, flatten transparency onto white and enforce a measured byte limit.

Limitations

  • One static WebP image, up to 5 MiB and 4 megapixels. Reloading ends this session.
  • JPEG uses a solid background. JPEG encoding can change pixels. Quality and file size vary; compare the result before using it. The downloaded result must fit your maximum size. Encoding quality is chosen by a bounded search of actual outputs. Your chosen dimensions are retained; if the limit cannot be met, increase it or reduce the width and process again. Inspect the preview: a small byte limit can visibly reduce quality. JPEG is opaque; transparent areas become white. Chosen width is exact and can enlarge a small source. This guided resize-and-size preset uses the same shared operations as Fit Image to Upload Limit; it provides no additional destination approval or metadata-anonymity guarantee.
