About this flow
Convert a supported HEIC primary still to JPEG, resize to your chosen width with aspect ratio preserved, then fit a sharing or upload byte limit. Preview before using the result.
Limitations
- One static HEIC image, up to 32 MiB and 16 megapixels. Reloading ends this session.
- JPEG uses a solid background. JPEG encoding can change pixels. Quality and file size vary; compare the result before using it. The downloaded result must fit your maximum size. Encoding quality is chosen by a bounded search of actual outputs. Your chosen dimensions are retained; if the limit cannot be met, increase it or reduce the width and process again. Inspect the preview: a small byte limit can visibly reduce quality. Only the declared primary still is converted. Container rotation, reflection and crop are applied; EXIF-only orientation is not guaranteed. Eight-bit JPEG is encoded twice, with white behind transparency. Chosen width can enlarge a small source. Intermediate JPEG must fit 20 MiB; original and intermediate downloads can exceed your final limit. HDR tone mapping and ICC fidelity are not guaranteed. Source metadata is not copied; original download retains the container and metadata. This is not anonymity or exhaustive metadata removal. First use downloads the verified decoder; the image stays local.
