How to use this tool

  • Enter the displayed example values,or choose the local input files requested by the controls. Optional source files take precedence where labelled.
  • Choose Calculate result and inspect the complete result and any reported limitations.
  • Use Download result and each companion download link to save complete outputs. Reset clears output and restores example controls.

Examples

Circuit: unloaded
Source voltage (V): 12
Upper R1 resistance (ohms): 1000
Lower R2 resistance (ohms): 2000
Loaded mode: load resistance (ohms): 3000

Limitations

  • Calculate an ideal DC resistor divider with optional output load. R1 connects the source to the output; R2 and optional load connect output to ground. Report output/branch voltage, current, equivalent resistance and component/source power. Source voltage is within +/-1e9 V; resistances1e-9–1e12 ohms. The unloaded mode ignores the load field. Ideal equations do not assess component ratings, tolerances or thermal suitability. Download the complete JSON report. All processing stays in your browser. Combined input limit: 400,000 UTF-8 bytes, 100,000 characters per field; report limit: 4 MiB. Floating-point rounding and probability underflow can occur.
  • Complete outputs only. Unsupported or oversized input is refused. Follow the displayed job-specific bounds and format policies.
