How to use this tool

  • Choose a local media file.
  • Set the available times, size, volume, or format options.
  • Select Process media, then download the result. Cancel or Reset stops local processing.

Examples

Choose a short local sample and run video trim.

Limitations

  • Files are processed locally with no upload or playlist fetching.
  • Input must contain a readable video track. Audio-only files are not accepted by this tool.
  • 128 MiB input/output, 5-minute duration, 8-megapixel video, 8192 pixels per side, 1–2 audio channels at 8–96 kHz, and a 120-second processing deadline.
  • GIF input is limited to 20 MiB; GIF paths support at most 600 frames and 100 million aggregate frame pixels.
  • Decoding and some output encoders depend on browser codec support. Encrypted media is unsupported.
  • Primary tracks only; subtitles and extra tracks are not carried into new outputs.
  • Re-encoding may change quality. Descriptive tags/artwork are removed from new media; technical encoding headers remain.
  • Decoded video is limited to 9,000 frames and four billion pixels. Separate VP8/VP9 alpha planes are decoded and composited onto black. Input color metadata is kept as supplied; encoded RGB output uses explicitly tagged limited-range BT.601 YUV. Lossy codecs, browser color management and HDR conversion can still affect color fidelity.
