How to use this tool
- Choose one local video file.
- Review the report, including all recognized tracks and the measured-versus-declared timing labels.
- Choose Process video and inspect the result before downloading.
- Cancel and Reset stop processing and invalidate previous results.
Examples
Check which codec, dimensions and timestamp intervals a local video actually contains.
Limitations
- Browser-local processing in a killable worker with a 120-second deadline and disabled network. At most 128 MiB input/combined output and a readable duration up to five minutes.
- Up to 16 recognized audio/video tracks, 8 megapixels per frame and 8192 pixels per side. Audio tracks must have one or two channels at 8–96 kHz. Local files only, no playlists or URLs.
- Recognized audio/video tracks only, not an exhaustive container or private-metadata dump. Up to 9,000 packets per video track, 100,000 per audio track and 200,000 total packets. Descriptive tags are truncated to bounded lengths/depth and binary artwork is summarized.
- Rates are measured averages of presentation packet timestamps, not nominal FPS. The report identifies variable intervals, duplicates, metadata duration, final packet end and container presentation duration separately. Declared bitrate is labelled and not a measured payload-rate guarantee. No authenticity or security certification.
