How to use this tool
- Enter the admitted input and explicit options described below.
- Select Calculate parallel-base shape and inspect the stated conventions.
- Download the complete result and any companion report.
Examples
Bases 10 and 4 with height 4 have exact area 28 and median 7, regardless of the admitted horizontal offset.
Limitations
- Selected decimal fields at most 128 raw units; positive bases/height 1e-12–1e12, signed offset zero or magnitude 1e-12–1e12; 4096 intermediate digits, 64 KiB report and 30 seconds.
- Parallelogram mode sets the second base equal to the first and ignores the unused second-base input. Perimeter approximation uses finite binary 64 evaluation shown to 12 significant digits.
- No independent leg inputs, unconstrained quadrilateral solver, angle/diagonal solver or unit inference.
