How to use this tool
- Enter book text, choose Text or Markdown, and provide a title and language tag. A level-one Markdown heading starts a chapter.
- Choose Process ebook. Cancel stops the worker.
- Download and inspect the result before replacing your original. Reset clears inputs and results.
Examples
Create a book titled Notes with language en and two Markdown chapters beginning with #.
Limitations
- 20 MiB compressed input; 64 MiB expanded/output; 1,000 ZIP entries, 8 MiB per entry, 60-second cancellable worker. Reading-order XML is limited to 16 MiB including repeated chapters.
- EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 only. UTF-8 or BOM-marked UTF-16 XML. ZIP64, unsafe paths, internal DTDs and custom entities are rejected.
- No DRM removal. Remote resources and scripts are never loaded. Extraction uses the first rendition; metadata editing requires one unsigned rendition.
- Text/HTML reading copies omit layout, styling, images, links, scripts and media. Complex math and interactive content may not retain meaning.
- Images: original PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP only; SVG, encrypted and remote images are excluded. Image metadata is preserved.
- Creation: plain text or Markdown up to 2 MiB, at most 500 chapters, optional PNG/JPEG cover. Markdown links, external media and HTML attributes are omitted.
- Inspector reports package structure, not complete EPUB conformance or accessibility. Metadata editing preserves content and its existing active resources.
