How to use this tool
- Enter a value using a decimal point or scientific notation.
- Choose the input and output units. For temperature, choose absolute values or differences.
- Select Convert units, review the result and download the text if useful. Reset restores defaults.
Examples
100 °C = 212 °F; a difference of 100 °C equals a difference of 180 °F.
Limitations
- Uses floating-point arithmetic with output rounded to 12 significant digits. Maximum input magnitude is 1e100. Nonzero values or results outside the floating-point range are rejected. No network request is needed for calculation.
- Absolute values below zero kelvin are rejected. Difference mode applies scale factors only and allows negative differences.
