How to use this tool
- Choose one or more XLSX files as supported by the controls.
- Choose a sheet number and the relevant options when shown. Process the spreadsheet and review the result.
- Download the result. Reset clears inputs and local results; Cancel stops an active worker.
Examples
A workbook with name/score columns for Alice (10) and Bob (20).
Limitations
- New XLSX files contain displayed values as text. Formulas, formatting, charts, comments, hyperlinks and merged-cell layout are not copied. Preview shows at most 30 rows and 12 columns; downloads retain supported data.
- Only unencrypted XLSX input is supported. Legacy XLS, XLSB, ODS, macros, embedded objects and external workbook links are rejected. Formulas use saved cached results and are never evaluated; recalculate missing cached results in your spreadsheet application first.
- 20 MiB per workbook; 40 MiB total input/output; 1–50 sheets; at most 50,000 rows per sheet, 500 columns and 500,000 cells. UTF-8 text input is limited to 5 MiB and cells to 32,767 characters.
- CSV/TSV exports prefix formula-like text with an apostrophe. JSON and YAML retain displayed cell text rather than inferring numeric/date types. XML uses the DTH named-field table mapping.
