Photo-tile mosaic maker

• Choose one target image and between one and 64 tile photos. Input order resolves equal color matches.
• Choose grid columns and the output size of each square tile. Rows are calculated from the source aspect ratio.
• Optionally add target-color tint or prevent immediately adjacent repeated tiles, which needs at least three photos.
• Create the photo mosaic, inspect the preview and tile report, and download the PNG or ZIP. Reset clears inputs and output; Cancel stops processing.

Rebuild a landscape from 32 family photos, with 40 columns, 32-pixel tiles and 15% target-color tint.

• PNG, JPEG and static WebP only. Each image is limited to 16 MiB, 8 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per side. Up to 64 tile photos; 64 MiB and 32 megapixels combined. All input headers are checked before the first image decode.
• Tiles are cropped to centered squares and resized. Transparent pixels are flattened on white. Output is an opaque PNG with source EXIF/XMP/text omitted; stored source pixel orientation is used.
• Matching uses Euclidean distance between mean encoded-RGB colors, not perceptual matching or a global optimum. Tiles may repeat and some may be unused. Avoid-neighbor mode only prevents a match to the tile immediately left or above.
• Rows are rounded from the source aspect ratio, so output proportions can differ slightly. Choose 2–100 columns and 8–128 pixels per tile; at most 100 rows, 8 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per output side.
• Optional tint overlays each source cell average at 0–50% opacity, changing the original tile colors. Browser color decoding and resampling can vary.
• Cancellable local worker with a 120-second limit; PNG up to 40 MiB or ZIP up to 44 MiB. No uploads, external image search or AI generation.
