How to use this tool

  • Choose the local source file.
  • Choose a page and select Preview page. Drag a rectangle or draw a line; alternatively enter the coordinate controls and choose Add mark from coordinates.
  • Review the mark list and page preview; use Undo or Clear all marks to correct placement.
  • Choose Create output. Review the result and limitations, then download and inspect the output.
  • Use Cancel to stop processing or Reset to clear the inputs and results.

Examples

Remove a visible account number by replacing the marked region in a fresh pixel-only PDF.

Limitations

  • Local worker processing with a 120-second deadline. Cancel and Reset discard results and stop the processing worker. No input is uploaded.
  • One PDF up to 50 MiB and 500 pages; at most 500 marks and 20,000 drawing points. Coordinates are points from the visible page’s top-left; rotated CropBox coordinates are normalized. Original forms, annotations, bookmarks, attachments and document actions are omitted.
  • Every page is rasterized into newly encoded pixels; original text, streams, metadata, attachments and annotations are not copied. Black rectangles receive one-pixel outward padding. Uncovered visible content remains readable; inspect every page before sharing. Searchable text, vectors and interactive fields are lost.
  • At most 100 rendered pages, 12 million pixels per page, 100 million total pixels and 36–300 DPI. Unsupported render features or decode errors are rejected. Existing annotation/form appearances are omitted. Output at most 100 MiB.
