How to use this tool
- Paste JSON or choose a UTF-8 file, which takes precedence.
- Choose Remove null, Remove exact empty strings, Remove empty arrays and Remove empty objects; all default on.
- Select Clean empty values and download cleaned.json plus removals.json.
Examples
An object containing only a null child logs the child removal followed by the emptied object removal; an emptied root remains and is explicitly reported.
Limitations
- 5 MiB strict JSON, 200,000 values, 40 nesting levels, 10,000-unit numeric tokens, 100,000 removal actions, 5 MiB cumulative pointer payload and 20 MiB combined output; 30-second processing limit.
- Report order is deterministic postorder with original array indexes and parser object-key enumeration. Integer-like keys may enumerate ahead of other keys. The report contains no removed values.
- No general falsy-value removal, trim/coercion, deduplication, PII detection or anonymization/privacy certification.
