How to use this tool
- Enter one unbracketed IPv6 literal per CR/LF record, without zones, prefixes, ports, blanks or whitespace.
- Select Expand and compress. Admission uses the local platform URL parser and never performs a request.
- Download ipv6-addresses.json for every full group/octet/bit array and exact unsigned integer.
Examples
::1 expands to 0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0001 and exact decimal 1.
Limitations
- At most 65536 UTF-8 bytes/UTF-16 units, 1000 addresses and 45 units per address; 2 MiB report and 30 seconds.
- Reject blank records, whitespace, brackets, zones, CIDR prefixes, ports and non-ASCII input. Dotted tails depend on native parser admission; mapped addresses are displayed in all-hex form.
- No DNS lookup, network request, reachability, location or security classification.
