How to use this tool

  • Choose Build or Parse, then supply the selected field values.
  • Select Build or inspect Link and review the inert targets and parameters.
  • Download link-header.txt and link-header-report.json.

Examples

Target https://example.com/page/2 and rel next produce <https://example.com/page/2>; rel="next".

Limitations

  • At most 65536 ASCII field units, 100 links and 20 parameters per link; 4096 units per raw parameter, 8192 per target, 1024 per relation field and 2000 each for type/title. At most 1 MiB combined output and 30 seconds.
  • Only absolute ASCII HTTP(S) targets without credentials, controls, whitespace or backslashes are admitted. URL normalization is explicit. Only rel, type and title parameters are supported; case-insensitive duplicate parameter names refuse. Relation token order and duplicates remain.
  • Type and title are inert printable ASCII strings, not MIME validation. Relative targets, extended parameters, anchor semantics, active navigation, preload behavior and complete RFC 8288 coverage are outside this subset.
