How to use this tool
- Paste hexadecimal digits or choose a UTF-8 hex file. Set a download filename.
- Select Process files and review the result before downloading.
- Cancel stops processing. Reset clears working data and downloads.
Examples
Files with different names can contain identical bytes. SHA-256 identifies candidates; duplicate detection also compares the actual bytes.
Limitations
- Up to 100 files totaling 32 MiB, a 40 MiB output limit and a 120-second worker deadline. No files are executed, uploaded, deleted or changed on disk.
- File-to-hex accepts up to 2 MiB. Hex-to-file accepts up to 6 MiB of UTF-8 text and 2 MiB decoded bytes. Only hex digits and whitespace are accepted; hex-dump offsets and ASCII columns are not parsed.
- The splitter allows at most 100 raw parts of up to 16 MiB. The joiner requires the DTH manifest and all parts; split ZIP/RAR volumes and arbitrary unverified concatenation are not supported.
- SHA-256 equality does not authenticate the source. Modification times and MIME hints come from browser metadata. Filename sanitization preserves content and extensions; it does not make file contents safe to execute.
