How to use this tool

  • Choose an animation file, or select static images in frame order for a maker.
  • Set the available dimensions, timing, play count or frame selection controls. Frame numbering starts at one.
  • Process the animation, preview where applicable and download the actual output. Reset clears local inputs and results; Cancel terminates processing.

Examples

A three-frame animation with 40, 120 and 200 ms delays and three total plays.

Limitations

  • Timing and loop edits preserve original GIF image data, palettes, transparency and disposal. GIF delays use 10 ms units. Viewers may clamp zero or very short delays.
  • 20 MiB combined input; 40 MiB output; at most 300 frames, 4096 pixels per side, 4 megapixels per frame, 20 million total canvas pixels and five minutes per cycle. Zero delays count as 100 ms for duration limits.
  • APNG input accepts non-interlaced 1–8-bit grayscale/palette or 8-bit RGB/RGBA. Re-save 16-bit or Adam7 inputs. Makers accept static PNG, JPEG and WebP; animated inputs belong to their dedicated converters. Stored pixel orientation is used for JPEGs.
  • Geometry uses nearest-neighbor resampling. Total plays 0 means infinite looping; positive values count complete cycles. GIF supports at most 65536 total plays.
