How to use this tool
- Enter the admitted input using CSV input, Input delimiter, Selection mode, Count, Step, Test percentage. A selected UTF-8 source file takes precedence over paste.
- Choose first, last, every-nth, random sample or train/test. Only its Count, Step or Test percentage participates. Random reruns are not seeded.
- Select Select CSV rows and download sample.csv (sample modes), train.csv and test.csv (train-test), selection-report.json.
Examples
A first selection of3 returns original data rows1,2,3. Every-nth with step2 selects1,3,5 and so on.
Limitations
- 5 MiB input; at most 50,000 data rows, 500 columns and 500,000 cells. At most two CSV outputs; all artifacts together 20 MiB, with a 30-second processing limit.
- Count1–N; step1–50,000; test percentage integer1–99 and both partitions nonempty. Header-only input rejects.
- Random selection is without replacement and has no seed or deterministic rerun promise. The manifest proves recorded membership, not statistical representativeness, stratification or group balance.
