How to use this tool

  • Enter a date, a time with optional millisecond precision and a fixed UTC offset.
  • Calculate the six half-open calendar periods containing that explicit instant.
  • Download the complete boundary, fraction and percentage report.

Examples

At 12:00:00 in an ordinary fixed-offset day, that day's elapsed fraction is 1/2.

Limitations

  • Input years 0002 through 9998, millisecond precision and fixed offsets from -840 through 840 minutes. Every reported boundary must stay inside years 0001 through 9999. At most 4096 combined input units, 64 KiB output and 30 seconds.
  • Periods are half open and weeks start on Monday. Percentages use six-decimal half-away-from-zero rounding.
  • No host clock, IANA timezone, daylight-saving transition or leap-second calculation.
