How to use this tool

  • Enter the displayed example values,or choose the local input files requested by the controls. Optional source files take precedence where labelled.
  • Choose Calculate result and inspect the complete result and any reported limitations.
  • Use Download result and each companion download link to save complete outputs. Reset clears output and restores example controls.

Examples

Descending-power coefficients: [1,0,-2]
Lower bracket endpoint: 0
Upper bracket endpoint: 2
Absolute tolerance: 1e-12
Relative tolerance: 1e-12
Maximum iterations: 128

Limitations

  • Search for one real polynomial root by bisection inside an increasing sign-changing bracket. Enter2–51 descending-power numeric coefficients within +/-1e12 and endpoints within +/-1e12. The report includes the whole iteration trace, residual, final interval and convergence status. Endpoint or midpoint zero means a floating evaluation zero. No claim of exact zero, uniqueness, all roots or no roots elsewhere. Maximum iterations1–256; positive absolute tolerance1e-15–1 and relative tolerance0–0.001. Download the complete JSON report. All processing stays in your browser. Combined input limit: 400,000 UTF-8 bytes, 100,000 characters per field; report limit: 4 MiB. Floating-point rounding and probability underflow can occur.
  • Complete outputs only. Unsupported or oversized input is refused. Follow the displayed job-specific bounds and format policies.
