Examples
70 kg at 175 cm gives BMI 22.86; its unrounded value falls in the CDC healthy-weight category.
Limitations
- Inputs and outputs stay in your browser. These are estimates, not diagnoses or personalized intake targets.
- Adults aged 20–120 only, with height 100–250 cm and weight 20–350 kg (or equivalent units). These are supported input bounds, not healthy ranges. Not for pregnancy, breastfeeding or clinical assessment.
- BMI does not distinguish fat, muscle and bone, or measure fat distribution. Categories use the unrounded result. Displayed BMI rounds to two decimals.
