Consolidated Workbook Category Totals to HTML

Merge compatible workbook sheets and download category totals as a complete HTML table.

Processing stays in your browser; code and assets download as needed. Original and checkpoint downloads retain source content, including omitted values. Reset and Exit stop this session’s owned work; they do not establish secure erasure or anonymity.

About this flow

Combine every worksheet, including hidden sheets, from two to four XLSX workbooks with matching headers. Group displayed values by a chosen column and download sorted decimal totals and counts as an escaped HTML table. Worksheet selection changes inspection facts; it does not limit the merge.

Limitations

  • Displayed values and saved formula caches only; source workbook formatting and formulas do not survive the new value-only workbook. The maintained parser normalizes embedded CRLF to LF; original file bytes remain retained.
  • Formula protection is off to preserve literal labels; spreadsheet execution safety is not certified.
  • Literal HTML source output; no native Excel or browser-rendering claim.
  • Choose 2–4 XLSX files up to 1 MiB each and 4 MiB combined, with matching ordered, unique, nonempty headers. All worksheets are merged in file and sheet order, including hidden sheets; repeated rows count repeatedly. Source worksheet selectors change inspection facts only.
  • The complete JSON handoff must fit 5 MiB and 10,000 records; larger complete output refuses without clipping. Group and amount controls refer to the exported CSV column order: numeric-looking header names can change that order. Amounts use ordinary fixed decimal notation; exponent amounts refuse. Originals and checkpoints retain omitted source content.
