About this flow

Add a text watermark to your chosen PDF pages, then remove supported document metadata from the prepared result. Choose one unencrypted PDF up to 50 MiB with 1-500 pages. Leave the page selection blank for all pages, or enter page numbers and ascending ranges. Enter nonblank watermark text, choose a text size from 6-144 points and set opacity from 0-1. Defaults are DRAFT, 28 points and 0.25 opacity. The watermark is placed across the page center; long text shrinks to fit. Review the prepared result and download the final PDF. Original and intermediate downloads remain available during the session.

Limitations

  • Supported unencrypted PDFs retain searchable/vector content, canonical fields, safe URI/internal links, bookmarks and inert attachments. Ordinary text, choice, checkbox, radio and caption-button appearances are generated when needed using available fonts. Unsupported encodings, custom icon regeneration, signed modifying documents, active actions and unsupported document structures reject before a modified result; originals remain available.
  • The final step removes supported Info/XMP metadata, while visible identifiers and useful document functionality remain. It does not establish anonymity. User input is at most 50 MiB per file; supported generated intermediates and final output may reach 100 MiB. Each worker operation stops after 120 seconds. Review the final download before replacing originals.
  • Up to 500 pages. Standard Helvetica watermark text is at most 200 characters and supports its Western Latin character set. Unsupported scripts reject. Opacity zero produces an invisible mark. Selections cannot repeat or overlap pages.
