JSON Export to Filtered Review Sheet

Turn a JSON export into a focused TSV review sheet: filter records, choose columns, sort them and protect the final spreadsheet download.

Source files and processing stay in this browser. No upload or account is required. Runtime modules download by verified GET. Omitted fields remain in the original source and may remain in early intermediate downloads; this is not anonymization. Reloading ends the session.

About this flow

Choose or paste a UTF-8 JSON array of object records. Set the original column used for a case-sensitive literal filter, choose columns in the required output order, then sort the selected sheet. Download the protected TSV and review the original or latest completed CSV intermediate when needed. The example defaults expect id, status, rank, title and private columns in that order; set positions for your own export.

Limitations

  • One UTF-8 JSON array of 1–10,000 objects, at most 5 MiB, 200 unioned columns and 200,000 data cells. JSON Lines and arbitrary nested flattening are unsupported.
  • Columns follow first-seen object key order. Choose the correct positions for your own export; sort positions refer to the selected output.
  • Duplicate keys, invalid Unicode and unsafe or high-precision number literals reject. Quote precise numbers and identifiers as strings. Safe number spelling may normalize.
  • Missing and null values become empty cells. Nested values become JSON text. Case and whitespace remain significant; no automatic deduplication is performed.
  • Each generated CSV must fit the next step's 5 MiB processing limit. Failure retains the latest completed checkpoint; it does not create a successful final download.
  • No matching records produces a header-only TSV. Formula protection affects only the final download. Import identifiers and large integer columns as text; spreadsheet applications may infer types.
  • This browser workflow does not establish native Excel import, physical mobile, Safari, Firefox, forensic erasure or hidden heap reclamation.
