Limitations

One UTF-8 TXT file at most 1 MiB. Supply an explicit first record containing column labels: the converter treats every record as ordinary data, while the following CSV steps treat record one as the header. Positive widths count Unicode code points, not bytes, graphemes or display columns; each record must match exactly. Padding remains literal. No report-format discovery, trimming, decimal/type inference or formula protection. Runtime bounds include 50,000 total records, 500 fields, 500,000 cells and 10,000 code points per record; downstream CSV files must fit 5 MiB.
