About this flow
Prepare a delimited table in three steps: remove entirely empty rows, deduplicate exact row or key-column matches, then sort the remaining data. The first row remains the header. Choose your real input delimiter and use text or exact decimal sorting.
Limitations
- The first row is treated as the header; column positions start at 1.
- Empty-row removal keeps rows containing whitespace. Duplicate comparisons preserve case and whitespace and keep the first matching row.
- Numeric sorting requires every selected data value to be a decimal number; blanks and other text fail.
- Final formula protection preserves complete bounded signed decimal/exponent numbers and adds an apostrophe to formula or control-prefixed expressions. CSV/TSV imports may infer types; import identifier columns as text. Protection OFF retains literal expressions with spreadsheet execution risk.
- Inputs are limited to 5 MiB. Output may expand to 20 MiB, but a later processing step still accepts at most 5 MiB.
- Use UTF-8 text with a consistent number of fields per row. Ragged rows and malformed quoting fail before processing; blank physical lines in a multi-column table must be represented as correctly shaped empty records.
- A table may contain up to 50,000 data rows, 500 columns and 500,000 cells. Processed files quote every cell and use CRLF record separators.
