CSV Export to SQLite Text Inserts

Remove wholly empty records, select import fields and generate a quoted SQLite INSERT script preserving every cell as text.

Input/output processing stays local. Original and checkpoint downloads can retain omitted/replaced values. No all-secrets-removed, anonymization, heap-erasure or security certification.

About this flow

Remove wholly empty records, select import fields and generate a quoted SQLite INSERT script preserving every cell as text. The prior CSV-to-JSON package does not create SQL identifiers/literals or a usable SQLite INSERT script. This cleans/projects records for an explicit target TEXT schema; no database is contacted and SQL output is not a universal dialect promise.

Limitations

  • Each downstream CSV/JSON input remains limited to 5 MiB; a larger completed intermediate stays a checkpoint and final success is refused. Originals/checkpoints retain omitted or replaced values. One comma-delimited UTF-8 CSV5MiB/50,000 rows/500columns/500,000cells. Header and at least one remaining data row are required; duplicate empty headers reject. SQL table identifier1–200UTF16units; dots are literal, not schema separators. SQLite column names must be unique under ASCII case-insensitive comparison. NUL rejects; all cells including NULL-looking/empty/numeric-looking strings become quoted SQL text literals. Output≤20MiB is inserts.sql. Compatible target TEXT columns/constraints remain your responsibility. No CREATE TABLE, type inference, database connection or product SQL execution. Spreadsheet formula protection is deliberately absent in SQL literals.
  • No native other-browser/physical-device/heap-erasure acceptance is established.
  • Choose a saved comma-delimited CSV input; the first step fixes comma parsing. TSV input is not offered by this recipe.
